Description
The Sportline is the top-end trim for the Karoq range — the “sporty / dynamic” variant rather than a “standard” or “base” trim.
For 2021-plate models (and recent ones), the Sportline trim was offered with any of the engines in the range (excluding the smallest 1.0 TSI). That includes diesel (TDI) — e.g. 2.0 TDI 150 PS with DSG and optional/fitted 4×4.
Exterior & Styling — “Sporty + Blacked-out” Look
A Sportline-trimmed Karoq distinguishes itself visually from lesser trims:
Gloss-black exterior touches: the grille surround and slats are gloss black rather than chrome.
Black roof rails, black window frames and black wing-mirror caps.
Body-coloured bumpers & side skirts, but with a sportier design: front apron with central air inlet, a rear diffuser integrated into the rear apron, and chrome-effect/faux-tailpipes.
Standard alloy wheels (on 2021 Sportline) are 18-inch “Procyon” black alloys with aero-trims; optionally 19-inch wheels might also have been available.
Tinted rear side windows + rear window (SunSet glass).
Standard full-LED Matrix headlights (so you get better lighting than basic halogen or standard LED).
Bottom line: the Sportline has a more aggressive, “stealthy” look compared with more conventional trims — darker, more understated “sport-SUV” vibe rather than family-SUV blandness.
Interior & Comfort — “Sporty & Premium”
Inside, Sportline focuses on sporty styling and comfort:
Seats are sporty — sports-style seats with integrated headrests, covered in “ThermoFlux” fabric (breathable, more comfortable) as standard; leather or partial-leather maybe optional / extra.
Black interior trim throughout: black roof lining, black pillars, black door frames. Decorative elements: Piano Black strips on dashboard, carbon-fibre-effect trim on doors.
