Good-looking refined estate car with legendary 2.5 Turbo 5 cylinder Volvo engine. Very well equipped. Tow bar fitted. This car drives very well. I bought it a few months ago to tide me over and I've done quite a bit to it, as follows: Timing belt, water pump, tensioner and auxiliary belts were changed two months ago at 124,500 miles. Oil and filter changed. Gearbox oil changed. Air filter changed. New anti-roll bar drop links fitted front and rear. New rear wheel bearings fitted. New genuine FORD/Volvo PCV unit fitted (these are common issues with this engine as the valve with earlier units tends to fail; the replacement units have been upgraded by Volvo) which is a GBP450 job. The car has had recent front brake discs and pads, nearside caliper and offside front wheel bearing. Four new Kumho Ecsta tyres fitted last month. The MOT is due in two weeks time. I had a pre-MOT done a few weeks ago and the car needs a handbrake cable to be replaced as well as an offside front suspension strut. I had hoped to do the repairs myself but I'm running out of time and expertise with this project so if you're handy with the spanners then I've bought spares directly from Ford which you can have. Bodywork acceptable with a few dents and scrapes commensurate with age. These cars are becoming rare and are a real treat to drive. They are comfortable, roomy and handle well.
