The best engine in the best spec - no hybrid technology to worry about! The car is in great condition and has been pampered by me for nearly 2.5 years of ownership: - Strong & quiet engine - Smooth gearbox - No expense spared - Replaced all 4 air struts with new units and suspension components & bushes - 2 new front tyres and recently on rear ... years of smooth motoring ahead! HISTORY: This car had only 3 owners before me: 1 - Private Owner 1 - from Calne, servicing on the dot at Lexus Swindon. 2 - Dealership - based in Wokingham, who sold it to 2nd Owner. 3 - Private Owner 2 - from Reading, my neighbour who cherished this car! I bought this top of the range SE-L version from my next door neighbour. Sadly we can't justify keeping this car as we've recently got an electric car through work. I'm pretty gutted as I poured a lot of love into this car and want it to go to someone who will really enjoy and take care of it - hence advertising on Car & Classic. There is comprehensive service history from the first two owners and myself. I was able to corroborate all the work & MOTs done on the car for my neighbour through our local garage. There was a fair amount to do to the car when I bought it, but I got everything sorted out, starting with a 'full' comprehensive service. I bought it knowing an air-suspension strut (nearside rear) was failing so I just replaced them all along with all the bushes, drop-links, etc to firm it all up. I sorted out anything else that needed doing - all detailed in the last photo for your peace of mind. Everything works as it should and it is a truly lovely car to spend time in. Good driving position, comfortable on the motorway or in town. Smooth and serene engine & gearbox. Fantastic Mark Levinson sound system working perfectly (good bass!). Rear DVD setup comes with 3 Lexus/original infra-red headsets & remote controller which I sourced after purchase (now redundant as the children have all got mobile phones!) The bodywork is pretty good for the age. The sunroof is good with no leaks or problems, the aircon is cold, even the windscreen wipers are recently replaced. 140,429 miles - will go up slightly as using occasionally to keep it ticking over.
