This Defender is in amazing condition. I had looked for a solid original example for ages and eventually found this one. It's chassis is in incredible condition with no rust or pitting. The body work is really good with the usual signs of wear and a few scratches. There is one dent on the front o\s wing. (The paint isn't cracked so could be pulled out.) The interior is factory original aside from a new seatbox rubber which had worn away as they original ones always do. This was replaced with a very heavy duty seatbox cover which deadens any sounds from underneath. There is also acoustic matting in all footwells and in the rear load area. I have also put new sawtooth alloys on and brand new tyres all round. (Original wheels and tyres are available.) I have also added sidesteps to help people get in and out. I had brought the Defender for our wedding venue business to ferry people around the farm who needed a lift to the ceremony field but unfortunately people that are less mobile find it difficult to climb up into the defender so, unfortunately it is not fulfilling it's purpose which is why I am, very reluctantly, putting it up for sale. This has been checked over by a local land rover specialist and there is nothing that requires attention. I have just had new break pads put on the rear wheels and it has a new 12 month MOT with no advisories. It is honestly a great vehicle, all ready to go and will look after the new buyer for a long time to come.
