Description

Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde ('61 reg), Etna Black, Full Service History. Much-loved QV ready for a new owner. Bought from Alfa specialists Veloces of London in 2015 at 33k miles (third owner); now nearly 84k after mixed London/motorway use. HPI clear. V5 in order. New brakes last year; cambelt service completed last month. Paintwork: Etna Black with subtle red metallic flakestunning in sunlight. Honest wear: chips and scrapes; larger ones in photos. Interior: Fully valeted, very clean. Light age-related leather wear. Driver's mat could be replaced. Rims: Four lockable Alfa wheel nuts with box. Refurbished two years ago in matt black (standout look). Offside rims excellent; both nearsidesespecially rearhave kerb rash, touched in. Tyres: Brand-new Arrowspeed rears; year-old Dunlops up front. Engine bay: Clean and tidy, not concours. Battery cover missing. Drivetrain: Engine, clutch, gearbox, drives and bearings fully maintained. Unlike earlier Alfas, this one doesn't drink oil. Suspension: MOT advisory for rust on a rear spring; garage says it's paint flaking, just monitor. Keys: Two fobs; I only use one, so the other is nearly new Entertainment: The engine is the star. Original CD/radio; CD works, radio won't tune. I use Bluetooth to aux-in and stream from phone. Electrics: Number-plate light warning due to LED bulbs confusing CANBUS. All lights work. Dual-zone climate operates fine. Wipers and washers fine. Quirks (minor, very Italian): Light dashboard rattle at 30-40 mph-opening a window masks it. Occasionally awkward to select 1st; drop to 2nd then into 1st. On hot days after heavy A/C use, arming can trigger alarm, so lock with key. Brakes can squeal when warm (Alfa-specified Brembo pads). Good points: Exceptionally drivable. The 1.75L turbo shares its block with the 4C-responsive with broad power band for confident merges and overtakes. Compact, easy to park, and nimble in the city. Ascari mid-box transformed the exhaust from anaemic to authentic Alfa, with livelier feel. Still looks, feels and sounds special, nothing average about it. Service history: Documented FSH, mostly Alfa specialists. Cambelts always on schedule; latest in October, so no outstanding maintenance. Inspection/test drive: North London, near Belsize Park (NW3). Message to arrange viewing. Payment: Cash on collection (ideally at my bank) or bank transfer. No escrow, no Western Union. Well-kept, characterful QV with the right maintenance and the right noise!
