Description
Introducing my 2004 4.0L V8 Discovery 2 Sports edition !
This is a Japanease Import (first registered in the UK in 2019) and can't you tell by the lovely condition of the underneath, it was undersealed by the previous owner.
I have owned this vehicle for around 18 months and in that time it has not had that many miles put on it, it is currently reading just over 122,000 KM which translates to 77,600 miles - which is very low for a 20+ year old car.
Only selling due to my new discovery 1 3dr.
Want it to go to a loving home !
I will be open to sensible offers.
As pictured, it comes with several extras, I have also kept up with maintenance, during my ownership, giving it 2 light ervices (oil, oil filter, air filter replacement), replacing the alternator, replacing the crankshaft sensor and replacing the dreaded XYZ gearbox switch.
It is coming with a brand new bonnet release cable as I though it had broken but it had come loose, and I repaired it. It is coming with a brand new fuel pump which I was going to proactively replace but have not yet got around to it.
The original discovery floor mats will come with it as well as the rubber ones I currently have in the vehicle.
I have replaced the original Japanease radio for a British one which works, it is a little on the quiet side but this may be due to a different amplifier required for the British radio, I have not explored this but I will include both radios. The CD changer under the seat is in working order and I have used it many times.
Original Jack is still in the engine bay and the 'tool kit' with the locking wheel nut and tyre iron included.
Also comes with original Japanese stickers and manuals.
Included is also a dog guard and a full set of seat covers that have been on for the entirety of my ownership, I am only leaving them off for people to come and see how gorgeous the interior is.
Another personal favourite is the addition of the self dimming / compass mirror that I sourced and fitted.
Now for a negative, the headlining, as every land rover owner knows, they are a pain and it is beginning to sag, I have sourced and included a kit containing fresh material and adhesive (there is also a spare roof net to replace the passenger side one that has faded in the sun) which i simply haven't had the time to put up.
The sun roofs do work although I have tried to avoid using them as I know landy sun roofs can get leaky.
Any questions please ask...
