Selling here my electric mg5 estate on 85,900 miles. 4 years old and bought by me from new. Has been serviced every year by mg- most recently at 77,000 which involved a full fluids (brake and battery coolant) flush and replacement. It has recently had two new front wheel bearings and two new front tyres with an MOT till Oct 2026. Car has been great, plenty of power for a fwd estate (180 bhp- 150 KW) range of around 200 miles in summer, 170 winter. Battery SOH is 92%. Car fast charges at between 75 and 50kw and will go 5-80% in about 30-40 mins. In addition I have installed a 2kw AC inverter under the bonnet plugged in to the 12v battery. Whenever the car is running (in ready state but in park) it can be turned on and supply 1-2kw of AC power. The car charges the 12v system which in terms runs the inverter. Is great for camping in winter or running power tools/hoover. Can be removed if desired but I found it really useful! I've done multiple LOONG road trips in this car and it's been a pleasure. Drove to South France onde (2000 mile round trip), drove the NC500 (2500 miles) and the coast of Wales (1100 miles) so certainly capable of long distance driving! And infrastructure is getting better all the time! Only selling as I've bought the mg5s silly baby brother: an mg4 xpower!
