Reluctantly selling my Skoda Superb, as we no longer need a car this large in the family. Have owned this car several years and it has been great to drive and very reliable. With the 2.0 TDI engine from VW, this car still pulls strongly, and offers performance and practicality, alongside the silky smooth DSG 6-speed gearbox. Brilliant fuel economy, regularly achieving 55 MPG on longer runs, and usually between 650-700 miles per tank. As you might expect of a car this age, there are a few minor bumps and scrapes, but the bodywork is strong, with no sign of rust. I've taken good care of this car, and I'm sure it still has many miles left in it, as it still performs brilliantly, and is remarkably easy to drive for such a large vehicle. The Superb boasts an enormous boot space, with collapsible rear seats, and the clever two-part tailgate, that can open to a vast size. I have comfortably fitted a full size dishwasher in the boot, and this huge capacity is one of the Superb's major selling points in its class. It has ISOFIX points as well, so is perfect if you're using child seats. As with all cars, it may need some minor maintenance as it gets older, and I've been advised it may need a new alternator pulley and belt, but I've tried to reflect this in the price, alongside an occasionally intermittent fault with an engine oxygen sensor, which might need replacing. However, neither of these affect the performance of the car. The driver's door handle pin needs replacing, but the handle still works, and this is a minor job for someone with the right skills.
