This is a fantastic and incredibly rare opportunity to buy a car in excellent condition with exceptional mileage and very little use. I bought this Focus from its original owner, an elderly gentleman, in 2016. At that stage it had around 15,000 miles on the clock. Since then it has been garaged daily and used very very occasionally. As you'll see from its MOT history online, it's done between 93 and 1,520 miles each year under my ownership. It is 17 years-old but looks and drives like a 5 year-old car. Its lifetime mileage averages out at less than 1,200 per year!!!! This is a blue Mk 2 Ford Focus Style (insurance group 10). It's the 5-door version and has a 1.6L petrol engine and automatic transmission. "Style" is the third trim level, which includes air conditioning, front fog lights and a sports steering wheel. In addition, the original owner had rear parking sensors installed which look and work as if they were factory-fitted. Having kept it garaged, I have just replaced the battery due to it draining from underuse. The new one has a 3-year warranty. The key has remote locking, unlocking and boot unlocking and the standard, factory-fitted alarm works as it should. The factory-fitted CD and radio unit has a security code which I will pass over upon sale. There is some service history, including one arranged by me when I first bought it. I haven't had any done since due to lack of use, so a full service could be a sensible action. In all of the time that I've had it, the only expenditure has been 4 new tyres, new brake pads and a replacement windscreen washer bottle (the original owner kept it parked under a tree and pollen had blocked it up!) Recent advisories have related to some mild play in both front suspension arm bushes but this isn't noticeable when driving. I can't overstate the condition of this car, inside and out. Being garaged has protected it from the elements, and when it has been driven it has been short journeys around town, and a small amount of motorway driving. I am only selling as it's pointless keeping such a lovely car unused. Inspections are welcome, but please don't think that this is an opportunity to whittle down the price.
