Description

Reluctant sale of my Discovery 3, which is genuinely one of the cleanest and best-kept examples of its age. It's been extremely well cared for throughout its life and it really shows, the interior and exterior are immaculate for a 2006 car, and it drives beautifully. It has the cloth interior, which actually wears far better than the leather on these. No rips, no worn bolsters, no peeling still looks very tidy. It also has heated seats all round and it's the 5-seater version, so there's tons of space and a huge, flat boot. All major maintenance is fully up to date. Both the front timing belt and the rear (HPFP) timing belt have been changed twice in its life. The most recent belt change was in October 2025 at 99,000 miles, which also included: New genuine updated Land Rover oil pump (the stronger post-failure-design version) New water pump Full oil service Points to note: - Both props have been replaced within the last 20k miles - Air Conditioning compressor & condenser replaced - Alloys fully refurbished in correct OEM sparkle silver - Full paint correction recently completed - Royal Steering Wheels leather re-trim - Genuine floor mats + boot mat - Alexa Auto for Bluetooth streaming - Running on Pirelli tyres all round It has never been used off-road, and although tow-ready, the factory detachable tow bar has never been fitted the untouched kit is still in the boot cubby. Being the coil-spring model from factory, there's no ageing air-suspension to worry about. Comes with a full service history, mostly with Land Rover main dealers. Condition-wise it's extremely solid: no body rust, no bubbling on the arches or tailgate, and no water leaks inside carpets and boot are bone dry even in heavy rain. The mileage is largely from the previous long-term owners, who kept it for 16 years and regularly drove it between the UK and their home in Spain, so it's mainly done motorway miles. Mechanically it's spot on starts perfectly from cold, smooth gearbox, no knocks or warning lights. Fuel burning heater also works as it should. Viewings welcome; it will be stone-cold before any test drive. Only negative worth mentioning is the headliner, which is starting to sag slightly at the rear. It drives exactly as a good Disco 3 should: smooth, quiet and full of old-school Land Rover charm. I'm in no rush to sell the first serious buyer to view will take it away.
