Selling my 1997 Toyota MR2 non-turbo a solid, fun classic with just 75000 miles (will change as it is my daily until unfortunate sale). The car runs great and has been well looked after. Has had new Cam-belt system It's fitted with a JDM-style steering wheel for a sportier feel, otherwise mostly original and unmodified. Bodywork is generally tidy but it needs work few scratches and small cosmetic marks as you'd expect for its age, but nothing serious. The edges of skirts need attention as one has pain peel and another has little rust forming on the skirt previous owner had filled it but has came back again. Interior is very nice clean and tidy Mechanically it starts and drives well, and always gets attention wherever it goes. I've had 2 services in my owner ship (1 year) Have also replace exhaust with custom stainless one. I have partial history because previous owner had it around 12 years and serviced the car himself. Electrics do sometimes play up, the left side electric wind mirror does not go up or down but does work sideways the central locking plays up as well it will just randomly go on or off it does stop when driving but I am trying to investigate I believe it's due to the weather seasons as it happened last year round this time. (Wet and cold in old electronics) have been made aware of a slight gearbox whine, again it is an old car but I don't believe at this mileage I would need to change this, I have daily this car since being made aware and it feels smooth and slick still for me but trying to include everything I can think of for this sale. So this might not even be an issue but don't want to leave anything out. can include original steering wheel also have a set of 4 tyres with some pretty cool alloys which you can have with the car if you want. (Never got round to changing as I like the original) Would make a great daily classic or weekend toy. 1997 Toyota MR2 (Non-Turbo, Manual) 75000 miles rounded up, but is my daily so will be around this number. Nice driver condition MOT until January 12th 2026 but I am getting a fresh one on very soon. WOULD entertain a swap for a more sensible daily but only if cash is included.
