I am reluctantly selling my Z4 Coupe as an opportunity to buy my friends Z4M has finally come up. I would certainly be keeping this one if it wasn't for this reason. I took me a long time to find this particular one. Exterior. It is in exceptional condition for the age. It's been very well looked after. There is barely a mark on the paintwork and no corrosion. Interior. The champagne Napa leather seats are soft and in great condition. They are a rare option by all accounts and the drivers seat doesn't have the usual bolster wear that these cars have. Seats are not heated unfortunately but this feature hasn't been missed due to the extremely high temperatures seen in the UK in recent times?! The wheels have been refurbished to a very high standard. Tyres. Continental ContiSportContacts. They all have around 6mm of tread left and are recent. Suspension. There are no knocks or bangs or the usual squeaky creaky noises from the interior. It drives absolutely straight with the steering wheel dead centre. The car handles really well. Brakes. The brake discs and pads are new all round and are Brembo. The car stops very smoothly without any vibrations or pulling to one side. The brake fluid has been recently changed as part of a service by BMW. The handbrake has been adjusted and works very well. I chose this car as it doesn't have the outdated satnav pop up screen which I think is a bit naff and distracting. The car is totally standard and original. I am an ex-mechanic and I been over the car in great detail as I was intending to keep it long term. The N52 engine is very smooth and quiet. I have changed the rocker cover and the rocker cover gasket (see photos) as it was beginning to weep as they always do on the N52 engines. When I removed the rocker cover, the cams, chain and timing gear looked pristine with no black oily gunk that is usually found at the top of these engines. After 2000 miles since the oil was changed, the engine has not consumed any oil what so ever. The electric water pump looks to be fairly recent. There is full service history and the car has never been crash damaged. The air conditioning works perfectly. Bodywork. Extremely good condition. I believe it's "Carbon Black" which is almost a very very dark blue/plumb colour in the sunlight.
