Description

I've owned this super 2010 Lotus Evora 3.5 V6 since May 2019. The car has had very little use hence the mileage is still fantastically low for the age of the car, 34,000 miles. Bodywork is immaculate and as you can see from the photos the interior is similarly well looked after. It's a lovely car to drive, with a supple chassis that Lotus is renowned for. Sitting in the low driver's seat with the low dashboard you feel like you're in a racing car, with a great view out and superbly supportive Recaro Lotus seats. For any of you who have always fancied a Lotus, but worried they may be too basic or raw, this model is the ideal car. Lotus stepped things up hugely with the Evora, with a V6 engine, refined cabin, air conditioning and low road/wind noise, while still having everything you need for a country road blast. The handling and ride are pretty unique, giving a great feel for the road but not a super firm or choppy ride which so many German cars suffer from. The reliable Toyota V6 engine is powerful, and produces a truly great sound, especially in Sport mode, again a big step up from previous models. The manual gearbox is also excellent, giving you full control. Most enthusiasts say it's not a true Lotus unless it has a manual gearbox. The car has the lightweight, black, forged alloy wheels with very good Yokohama tyres. This car also has a reversing camera, which is pretty essential. Space for smaller, young ones in the back, although my six foot tall son has squeezed in there for shorter journeys. The back seats and boot also provide the car with very useful storage for a trip away. The car has been serviced regularly, with Lotus dealers and specialists. Driving the car reminds me in several ways of the classic Ferrari 308, which I drove years ago, but with added modern features, refinement and reliability. The car always gets a positive response from people when they see it. It seems to strike a good balance between something people like and admire, without the negative feelings some sports cars can generate. For me I feel it's time to pass the car on to someone who can make more use of it. I've thoroughly enjoyed owning the car, whether I've been driving it or just looking at it. Let me know if you have any questions. I will do my best to answer them. I'm located between Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells, about 1m minutes from Junction 5 of the M25. Happy to collect you from Tonbridge train station if that's easier.
