Description
Launched to global acclaim, the R35 GT-R redefined what a supercar could do. With its hand-built twin-turbo V6, race-car-grade chassis and all-weather capability, it remains one of the most remarkable road cars around.
Shooting Brake is delighted to offer this GT-R on the platform, presented here as a 2012 example in striking Grey metallic, showing just 44,900 miles on the odometer. Power comes from Nissan's 3.8-litre twin-turbo VR38DETT, hand-assembled by a Takumi master builder no less, and fitted in early 2023 by renowned GT-R specialist Litchfield. Paired to a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox and ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive, the GT-R produces 542bhp that sees the car launch from standstill to 60mph in a quite incredible 2.7 seconds before climbing to a top speed of 196mph. Wow.
Inside the cabin the multifunction steering wheel, carbon-effect centre console, and the trio of adjustable drive mode toggles confirm this car's dual role; equally at home on your favourite fast A-roads as it is a lethal track weapon for weekend use. The seats, in their red and black upholstery, certainly gives a more than passing hint of motorsport character. The overall condition of this R35 GT-R is consistent with the car's mileage and careful use.
