I am selling my Volvo XC60 R-Design (2012) as 'Spares & Repears' despite it generally running well. READ CAREFULLY:this vehicle is my family's workhorse taking daily school runs, weekend trips and seaside holidays in its stride. It recently (~Sep2025) developped an 'Engine System Service Required' issue, and some sleuthing identified it as a MAFS problem. I confirmed the wiring is good, no visible problem with the housing or connection, and the sensor seems clean. The car runs bumpy around 1,500 to 2,000 RPM when cold but has no problems once it warms up. The 'Check Brake Light' warning initially indicated a faulty LED on the third rear brake ligh, and this warning remains despite this part being replaced with a new one. The paintwork has scrapes and chips indicative of its age and milage. Tyres were all replaced in the past year, as were the front and rear brakes and discs.
