Description
This car was purchased as an affordable automatic first car to help me learn and gain confidence as a new driver. It has served its purpose perfectly, and I'm now selling it as I feel ready to move on to a more expensive vehicle. I have owned the car since September 2024.
The car has been well used and well looked after, drives really well, and for its age is in very good condition both inside and out. As a 2008 Volkswagen, it feels solid and firm on the road, with the build quality you would expect from the brand. It is a non-smoker car and has been reliable throughout my ownership.
There is partial service/MOT history available (2019-2025), and the MOT history can be checked online.
A new battery was fitted shortly after purchase, and three tyres were replaced in October.
Known minor issues (reflected in the price):
Some minor cosmetic marks on the exterior, consistent with age.
The front passenger (left) door lock is broken. The car was purchased in this condition and I did not repair it as I planned to keep the car for around a year only. My garage advised this is a simple and inexpensive fix (see photo).
The passenger electric window works, but it does not go up using the driver-side control. It operates normally from the passenger door switch.
Rear left light lens has cosmetic damage (see photo). The light functions correctly and this is purely cosmetic.
Overall, this is a great automatic car, ideal for a new driver or anyone looking for a reliable and affordable vehicle.
