Purchased originally as a family car once our second daughter was born. We knew we needed something with tons of room for us. We looked at Range Rovers but found they were unreliable, high insurance premiums and depricated very quickly. That combined with the fact that every man and his dog has one, we realised we wanted something different and a car that still had both comfort & luxury but reliablilty. It had to be big enough to fit the family in and then some. This car came highly recommended to us and boy are we glad we listened. The car has been faultless. Spec is huge and is a real pleasure to drive. It will comfortably seat 7 adults even in the rear 2 seats with tons of leg room and head height. (Much bigger than the X5, Q7, Range Rover and have cupholders in for good measure). Its excellent on fuel economy considering its size, but the 3.0L diesel is very refined and has a great balance of power and mpg. We've been on several holidays since owning this and its comfortably allowed 2 adults, 2 kids (with isofix car seats) 5 big suitcases, a double pram and hand luggage on the way to the airport. My wife now has a new company car that's paid for so we no longer need it. However it has served us well and will be greatly missed.
