Description

Owned by me since 2002 and always kept in the garage. MOT'd until Jan 27. Still in great shape for age and still turns heads. Most people don't even know what it is. This is a standard 20 valve turbo but with 'LE' side skirts and front bumper added. I could've bought a 'Limited Edition' at the time but didn't like all the red accents around the car, so opted for this more classic colour combination of dark exterior and contrasting tan leather. I then added the 'LE' side skirts and front bumper to get the right look externally. It starts first time and drives straight and true. Never raced or ranted, always looked after. I have a folder full of service history. Recently had two grands worth of work done including a new cam-belt and lots of other things. All keys present. Kenwood sound system including all speakers and an under seat sub-woofer. Everything works as it should and is still a really nice drive. Selling as I just don't use it enough so it needs the next person to dedicate some time and money to keep it up together. Mechanically 's pretty good, but it's going to need some cosmetic work to make it tip-top again. A long time ago, someone reversed into the front bumper with a towbar (you can still see the cracks in the number plate). Anyway the repair was obviously not done that well and a crack developed in front of the grill. This gradually turned into a big patch of paint and filler that blew out. It's a straight forward repair but I just haven't gotten round to it. Also, the roof needs attention as the lacquer has started to oxidize. Expect other small dings and marks around the car (after all it's nearly 28 years old), but they're not eye catching and the car looks quite good as you can see. Inside it's quite tidy and I just had a new roof liner fitted because the old one had drooping fabric. The only issue is drivers seat needs the main panel under your bum to be restored. Again this is an easy fix but I just haven't gotten around to it.
