It's been reliable and drives very well, but we're selling because we no longer do the mileage a diesel pickup needs and we're moving to an EV. Condition - We want to be transparent so there are no surprises: There are larger dents on the passenger-side doors and the passenger-side step. Smaller marks and scuffs in other areas from normal use. These dents are purely cosmetic and do not affect the drivability safety or mechanical condition of the vehicle in anyway. We have considered having the dents professionally repaired, however we have instead chosen to price the vehicle significantly lower to reflect the cosmetic damage allowing the next owner to address the cosmetic damage if they wish. Important- The asking price already reflects the cosmetic condition and has been set with the dents fully taken into account. Please bear this in mind when enquiring as we are not looking to reduce the price further- the dents have been accounted. If a buyer would prefer the dents to be prepared prior to handover we are happy to arrange professional bodywork repairs at cost, with the final price adjusted accordingly. The diesel particulate filter (DPF) light has come on a few times, which is common with Amaroks when mainly used for short journeys. It clears when taken on a proper longer run at normal operating temperature. Amaroks are known to be better suited to regular A-road / motorway driving rather than short trips. This change in usage is part of the reason for sale we no longer do long journeys and why we are switching to an electric vehicle.
