Description
A two owner vehicle, for which we have owned for nearly 16 years, having purchased it when it was less than 3 years old.
This is the Special Edition S-line Quattro model of the B7 A4 model. It was the run out model and fitted with some lovely options, including a full two tone Volterra (Audi premium) interior extending to the door cards. Alcantara covered steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake. The stainless steel drivers pedal set from the RS4 model, larger drilled front disks, black optic package and a rare optional extra of fully electric front seats. The star of the upgrades is the BUL 2.0 TFSI engine producing 220 bhp. This came from the limited edition DTM A4 model and includes a number of enhancements over a standard A4. 0-60 mph is just over 7 seconds and if you have never driven a Quattro 4 wheel drive, you will never go back to front or rear wheel drive cars, being able to effortlessly put down the power in all weather conditions.
The service history is impeccable having been initially with Audi to 2013, and thereafter in the care of VAG specialist Wheelbase at Hersham in Surrey. I am a fastidious owner and the car has been lovingly looked after as our third vehicle. I am an aviation engineer and know the importance of preventative maintenance. Every year the oil and filter is replaced, irrespective of whether it has only been driven a few thousand miles since the last annual service. You are welcome to call Wheelbase and ask them about the car. Their words not mine "this is one of the best condition A4 B7 they have seen".
The tyres are Goodyear Eagle F1 all around, with the fronts less than half worn and the rears just replaced in June 2025. The last service was also completed in June 2025 and only 2,000 miles ago, when it was also MOT'd. Both lower front suspension arms were also replaced. All the disks and pads have been replaced in the last few years, as have the spark plugs, brake fluid, fuel pump cam follower. The cam belt, tensioner and water pump was also replaced in 2023, just 13,000 miles ago. I have also had items like the gearbox and rear differential oils replaced. There are just too many service items to list and I have a fully documented folder with every invoice collated.
The car drives impeccably and feels tight and rattle free, which is testament to how it has been cared for. It drives as good as it looks. I just purchased another car and 4 is just too many to keep I am afraid.
