This is the desirable manual version with just 35,000 miles, and I've owned the car since 6,500 miles. The car is completely standard and unmodified. I'm a purist Volkswagen spent millions of pounds on research and development getting this car right, and in my view modifying it is unnecessary and often irresponsible. As a result, the car drives exactly as intended from the factory and feels tight, refined and properly sorted. Mechanically, the car is spot on. Everything works exactly as it should, with no faults or warning lights. It has been very well maintained throughout my ownership and comes with a full service history, supported by receipts for work carried out. The car has had 4 MOTs, all with no advisories, which speaks for itself. MOT and road tax are both due in February, in line with the original registration date. For security, the car is fitted with a Ghost II immobiliser, making it practically impossible to steal. Full instructions will be provided, and the entry code can be changed easily by the new owner for complete peace of mind. Cosmetically, the car presents very well overall. In the interest of full transparency, there is minor lacquer peel on some of the alloy wheels, and the near-side mirror casing is cracked. These are purely cosmetic issues and are reflected in the price. This is a private sale, not a garage listing.
