I have for sale my 2000 Porsche 986 boxster 2.7 manual. I've owned the car for approximately 18 months and have been using it as a daily driver only covering about 6000 miles. Drives superb, plenty of fun and surprisingly good fuel economy, especially on a few long road trips. I'm only selling due to wanting something with bit more space which I can also use as a family car. And more recently struggling to get in and out due to a back injury. There's is a stamped service book, partial service history from previous owners. Last oil changes were done approximately 90500 and 96500. Previous owner carried this out every 5000 miles and I've tried to stick to the same. Only Mobil1 has been used. And I've got a new set of spark plugs to go in as well. In my ownership I've replaced the starter motor and drive belt. I purchased the hardtop to protect it in the winter months. It's from a silver car and it does have a bit of corrosion appearing (which is common) as shown in the photos and was looking to get it colour match when I had it repaired but I don't think the two tone looks too bad. I've also bought the 996 18 inch alloys which sot much better on the car and look great (Pilot sport 5 265 35 18 at the rear and Yokohama blu earth es 225 40 18 at the front). Plenty of tread as the rear tyre were only replace last year when the new alloys were put on. I still have the original set of alloys which will be included in the sale as a spare set or to sell on ( front - 205 50 17, rear - 255 40 17). Continental tyres, rears would need new tyres and fronts still have around 4-5mm on them. I also have some other parts from a 1999 986 which can be included (folding roof, seats, misc parts I.e. mirrors, rear lights, vent covers). It's been a great car whilst I've had it and will be sad to see it go as I've been driving it daily. Always puts a smile on my face. Viewing and offers welcome. Happy to answer any questions.
