Description
Originally built in 1996 to compete in Ford's one make series the 'Ford Credit Fiesta championship' (look it up on youtube, many current BTCC drivers used this series as a step up the ranks).
Registered in 1996, on paper the car is a MK4 1.4si and has a full V5 and vin but has only ever seen track use. The car was later facelifted in 2000 with the launch of the 'Zetec-S' to promote the new car.
Car has the potential to be MOT'd for road use with small modifications if that's what you wish to do.
This car has been a labour of love for me, originally bought to do some trackdays but only managed to get it out for one event. Since then it's been in my dry storage being looked after and tidied up. Had one of these as my first car and was a bit of a nostalgic journey, but it's time for me to move on and let someone else have some fun.

The basics
- 1.7 16v Zetec-SE with Newman cams, circa 155bhp. Work carried out includes - Valve buckets and shims (all shimmed to correct tolerance), Cometic head gasket and new head bolts, gates timing belt kit, water pump and aux belt. All changed for reliability reasons not from failure.
- Mocal oil cooler setup.
- STACK oil pressure gauge.
- Gripper Tarmac race LSD.
- Gearbox refresh, new bearings and seals.
- Full stainless exhaust.
- Proflex 2 way suspension (refurbished by Proflex at the cost of 850 pounds).
- Full original roll cage (specs in photos).
