Description

I've owned this car for 3 years and it's been absolutely fantastic. I have to sell it now to make way for a camper van. Comprehensive service history came with the car, during my ownership I have done all the servicing (in-progress photos available). When I first bought the car it ticked over 100k miles so I had it checked over and the the auto gearbox oil and filter changed at Atlas BMW specialist in York for peace of mind. I have records of me doing the services and the corresponding mileages, I service roughly every 10,000 miles and have done 3 in the time I've had the car. There is zero rust on the car. There are a couple of tiny paint chips and one small shallow dint of on the driver's door. The car pulls like a train, it's true what they say about this N52 engine - bombproof, great fun but not silly on fuel, I always end up averaging over 30 mpg and over 35 on a run. Incredible sound system with I think 10 speakers, I've installed the BlueMusic device so it plays from Spotify on the phone seamlessly. Built in Bluetooth hands-free works perfectly with my phone, buttons on the steering wheel control everything like this. I have a cruise control module (genuine BMW stalk and controller) I never got round to installing which I'll provide with the car if wanted. I've not re-gassed the aircon in the time I've had it and it's still super cold, demist. Heated seats which really are a blessing in this weather. Electric leather seats (with memory function), no rips or tears. Electric mirrors. Rear parking sensors. Built-in boot cover which is great for keeping whatever's in the (surprisingly generously-sized!) boot hidden from view. Sat nav and computer screen on the dash works but the sat nav is outdated. The latest MOT flagged a coolant leak which was me not seating a hose clip properly when I replaced the expansion tank and auto gearbox coolant thermostat, which I've now sorted. 18" wheels, would look terrific after a refurb, they're a bit crusty and scraped but not badly damaged or cracked. The tyres are non-runflats which give a nicer ride, it'll want a new set of rears in the next year. I removed the fuse for the headlight washers because the jet cover on the front bumper kept falling off, so I glued it in place. It's been through 3 MOTs like this and the lights are perfectly bright without being sprayed every now and then.
