Description
Up for sale is my 2005 BMW 130i in Le Mans Blue. It's a manual pre-LCI in pretty good condition that has a fair few tasteful improvements and updates. It's been a great car but it's time for a new owner. Really solid example with performance parts that are getting quite hard to find these days.
It has been lightly modified tastefully. The B12 suspension kit transforms the car The engine is standard but beautifully smooth and sounds great through the BMWP intake and exhaust. Aftermarket stereo installed with BMW HI-FI for a nicer experience.
I originally bought the car in 2022 from a forum member who used it as a weekend car. He took great care of it as have I. Link to the forum page on this car below.
Underneath at the front is great - the odd bit of surface corrosion on a bracket or 2 but very dry and mostly grime free. The rear sub frame is also very good - I treated some surface corrosion this year and had planned to paint and lanoguard the full car next summer. There is no rust/rot or any concerning areas. The wheels could do with a refurb to get them perfect.
It's driven 119,000 miles (many on the motorway in my ownership) and it is in great shape both exterior and interior. Mileage may increase slightly as it is used as a second car. Of course it has some faults - small chips on the front, a small scuff or 2 on the rear bumper, steering wheel wear at the edges, clear coat peel on the mirror - things that happen with 20 year old cars. I believe the price is representative of its condition and spec.
I generally do all my own mechanical work and servicing. have purchase receipts for service items, parts and bits in between. Earlier this year the clutch and flywheel were replaced with LUK parts - done at a reputable BMW specialist. Folder of history can be shown on inspection. General servicing done at the usual enthusiast intervals.
