Description
This is my MG ZT 260 V8. It is a really good example of an unmodified original car and an appreciating modern Classic.
MG produced this rear wheel drive ford Mustang engined car in very limited numbers and is a fantastic sleeper car. The car is low mileage at 59800 miles and I am the 3rd owner, the first owner was a pub landlord hence the ALE reg. He owned it from new and stopped driving it due to a bad back hence why it was off the road for a few years
It has had the following done on it within the last 400 miles at a significant cost but as important the rear rear subframe and underside etc is in great shape with no corrosion and undersealed correctly. I have a 2 minute video of the underside of the car that shows this. This is the recent work done
Brand New front Bilstein Struts and Springs (ZT260 specific)
New Rear Springs (ZT260 specific)
New front calipers and discs
New rear discs (ZT 260 specific
New coil packs Injectors and plugs and serpentine belt
New Pulleys with the new Serpentine Belt
The sun roof drains have been modified
New Fuel Pump & Filter (Retro Sportscars)
Oil Service MOT (No advisories, Retro Sportscars)
New Headlining (Retro Sportscars)
Undersealed Cleaned, Painted and Wax-oiled (video of Subframes)
Only issues are that the handbrake needs a small adjustment, it holds but only on the second to last click. There is a new modified handbrake compensator included. Age related marks to the paint and interior etc & the sunroof blind just needs putting back on the tracks. The sunroof works fine, just the fabric cover does not not automatically close when the roof shuts.
So to summarise, it's a good mechanically excellent car with low miles and all the expensive hard to find bits done. The reason for the sale is that I am likely moving later in the year to a slightly smaller house that will have less space for the cars so I am selling a couple.
