Description
Eunos v spec roadster,
Let me start by saying I never planned to ever sell this car, but sadly health has forced my hand.
I searched for years to find the perfect car, my criteria was simple, zero rust, low mileage and mechanically perfect.
A perfect base to start what you're about to read.
This Eunos was imported from Japan and registered in the uk in 2006,
The car has had all the under seal taken off to bare metal, two separate coats of quality rust converter, two coats of epoxy resin primer, and finished with 2 coats of raptor textured paint finished in black for that standard look.
Both inner and outer sills have been borescoped and cavity waxed to stop rust ever developing.
I've continued this treatment so it can be driven in any weather and will never rust.
It has never been welded and is rust free, all of it's paint is original spec cellulose paint, this is now showing age related patina in several places, mainly on left wing, I was never after a show room condition car, it can be driven and enjoyed like it was designed for.
It came into my ownership with the original nardi wooden pack (steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake cover), the steering wheel and handbrake lever lacquer was badly damaged, I have sanded and re treated both,
Also I have made the steering wheel detachable with a snap on boss, this can be reversed if not to your taste, but I wanted that as an anti theft device. The original horn still works fine and passes a MOT no problem.
The other modifications on the car are an mx5 parts cat back exhaust (not overly loud and a lovely exhaust note) and a roll over bar, both these can be removed if you want the originality back.
In my owner ship I have replaced.
-front main seal
-auxiliary pulley
-water pump
-Cambelt kit
-crank pulley seals
-cas O ring
-shift boot
-gearbox boot
-mx5 genuine coolant
All off these were genuine parts brought off mx5 parts.
Any questions please ask and I will answer them to the best of my knowledge.
