Description

Fiat 500's are cool cars. It's basically a Mini - but it's Italian. And Italian's do things very well - great food, great fashion, great football, great hair - and now, they've made a great car. When you pass one on the road - admit it - you've always wanted to try one. We got this car as a temporary solution to a bit of a geographical nightmare - it was only ever meant to be a fling - and now the inevitable break up is happening - I'll be honest, it's really hard to say goodbye. Let's start with the colour: Officially, it's "Coral Pink" - or if you're the squares at the DVLA, then sure - you just call it "Pink" - but it's not, it's so much more than that. It's more of a red, or maybe an orange? We called it Tomato Red Orange - it seemed to do the trick - it's a fun colour, and this is a fun car. Plus, it's really easy to spot in the car park. (It's also really small, so it's easy to park in a car park too - another bonus.) Now - fun stuff - it's got electric windows, it's got DAB+ radio, it's got Apple Car Play - just plug your phone in and it works - it's actually really neat. (I believe it has Android Play too - but I don't have an Android phone - so I can't guarantee that.) It's in really good condition - only just 6 years old, and with just less than 17,000 miles on the clock. I only did about 2,000 of those - but they were probably the most fun 2,000 miles of my life. I felt Italian, I felt like I was in Italy - but I'm not, and I wasn't - I was driving around Hertfordshire, and a bit of Essex. Practical stuff - It's got a manual 5-speed gearbox, and comes with two keys (both legit Fiat ones - one is the fancy remote one, and one more old school one). The upholstery is a two-tone grey, with a check pattern on it (it's fashionable, remember it's Italian) - and it's really neat and tidy inside. The boot space is deceptively large too - you can do a decent weekly shop easily, or fit a little suitcase in if you're jetting off to Italy. It takes petrol (on the drivers side) - and it's not a hybrid or anything complicated like that. No charging, just take it to the petrol station - fill it up - and off you go. So, if you're looking for a cool little runaround, or maybe a first car - this would be perfect. Cars are meant to be fun - this is. Plus... I read somewhere once that only attractive people drive Fiat 500's - so, this is obviously the car for you.
