Description
2006 Genuine JDM V6 4.0 Mustang Coupe with automatic gearbox.
2006 coupe NOT 2015-2017 as on the car details page!
Rebadged to look like a black Bullitt clone.
Twin quad exhausts make it sound like a burbling V8. Guaranteed to turn heads, get thumbs up and provide the smile factor.
It has factory installed rear indicators so no messy wiring.
Android 11 touch screen.
Stock Shaker sound system.
New K&N air box and intake.
New water pump.
New thermostat housing and thermostat.
New drive belt.
Oil change & filter.
Spark plugs.
All Motorcraft parts where possible.
New front indicator lenses & bulbs.
OEM 18" rims with 4 new tyres.
New headlights.
I have had mats made with the Bullitt emblems on them.
Electric mirrors, 'my colour' adjustable dash lighting.
Genuine FoMoCo Bullitt faux gas cap.
Built originally in Michigan and shipped to Japan. It was then imported to the UK about 4 years ago.
Lots of paperwork from my ownership, unfortunately only MOT certificates exist before me.
All the buttons, knobs and lights work.
Heating is really effective and hot, the a/c blows icy cold.
Very comfortable, I did a 160 mile journey and it performed faultlessly.
Original V6 grill with spotlights will be included along with wiring loom.
MOT July 2026.
Bad points-
There is a whining noise that starts just as you turn it on from cold, I've been told by my mechanic it is the alternator bearings. It wears off a lot once the car warms up. I am not a mechanic and have only been advised by my garage.
Drivers side seat doesn't fold forward to allow passengers in the back.
If you alter the heater direction to the final position, it makes a clicking noise for about 5-10 seconds then stops. A new actuator is needed as teeth have broken on a cog but heating works fine otherwise.
Some small chips around rear indicators.
Some scratches and marks on passenger side, most looks like it will polish off. Luckily it hasn't suffered from the usual bonnet rot/bubbling.
There is a small burn mark on the rear seat (about 4mm) and the stitching has come undone on a small section of the driver's seat bolster.
119000 miles but will go up slightly. It seems a lot but bear in mind it is nearly 20 years old so equates to around 6000 miles per year.
I have described it as best to my abilities, I am not a mechanic and am basing the issues in what my garage has told me. I welcome inspections.
Please note - this is NOT a factory built Bullitt!
Only selling due to my mobility, health and stoma getting worse.
