*** A TOTALLY UNIQUE VEHICLE IN EVERY RESPECT/ MULTI PHOTOS & VIDEO TO FOLLOW *** Where do we begin to describe this immaculate Honda civic GEN 2 5door hatchback with automatic transmission, well I suppose we should start at the beginning. A UK supplied vehicle by the Honda dealer at the time in Poole Dorset to a local lady owner as a brand new motor car in March 1979. This Honda Civic was the first of the second generation of Civic with much more space an angular look and modern amenities and, for the first time available as a 5 door hatchback. Our vehicle finished in gorgeous Montparnasse Blue Metallic complimented with a dark Blue cloth and leatherette trim was specified as a 5 door hatch and the vehicle was ordered with an automatic gearbox. The original owner kept the vehicle until June 2015 when it was traded in for a new Honda having covered a mere 9,000 miles in her 36 year ownership. The vehicle was then sold on to the Honda dealer in Chiswick West London who embarked on a full restoration project and was displayed in their new car showroom for a great number of years. Sadly due to a change of ownership of the company and possibly having run out of steam with the project we were offered the opportunity to purchase the vehicle and to finish off the project. We absolutely jumped at the chance as there was only a little bit of light fettling to do to end up with the vehicle we offer today. It is in amazing condition throughout, it retains the original plastic wrapping on the door cards and the interior is completely original and in beautiful condition. This is a rare opportunity to own a slice of motoring history, but still feels modern and is a very usable modern day classic car, perfect for highdays and holidays and is sure to attract enormous attention at classic car shows.
