STAGE 2 PLUS, i am the 2nd owner and purchased the car from Swindon VW on 21/2/22 The car has full main dealer service history, it has just had a full service including a haldex service along with new brake fluid. This car drives without fault! The interior has no faults tears rips or burns (none smoker)! The interior is gray alcantra with heated front seats. Inside there is a full digital dash, A/C dual zone climate control, adaptive cruise control. Exterior wise the body is very very good, the wheel are the same with only a couple of marks! Tyres are yokohama advans sourced for having the lowest noise level all have good tread depth except 1 which is very new (nail) spoilt the other. I had the car remapped to stage 2 at DMS Southampton which gave it a healthy lift to 380ps and 500nm. I had an uprated clutch kit fitted from RTS, comprising of a single mass flywheel a 6 paddle plate and the RTS hydraulic slave cylinder a little heavier than standard but not a lot. Whilst it was all apart I had an IBED rear crankshaft oil seal kit fitted to elevate the possibility of any oil leaks from the inferior VW one. Other hardware fitted include a racing line R600 air box, Tyson turbo pipe and turbo neck with a full dO88 large bore intercooler along side dO88 large bore pipes. All ready for a larger turbo if stage 3 required?? The car pulls from 2000 revs with no problem even in 5th gear. The exhaust benefits from a Milltek sport cat and resonator delete. Although never having had it run on a dyno since all the hardware was fitted, you'd be safe to say this now developes well over 400hp possibly 420 to 430 horse. The cars very very quick and responsive, it has never given me any issues or problems and fuel economy is as good as it was from VW !!! This golf is subtlably lower running on a set of Eibach springs and has cross drilled discs with Brembo pads. Will be very sad to sell as I adore these 3 door cars!!
