A genuine, standard specification, 6000 mile, (9000kms) GC8 car that was challenging to find and we had to be very patient in order to find and buy it. Today, quality GC8 Impreza's are difficult to source and are dissapearing from the market. Some poorer quality examples make there way to the UK but the quality examples, like our cars, command good prices and therefore usually go to the US or Australia. In a short time my guess is that GC8 examles could disappear from Japan as eventually all cars do. They still give the most exciting drive of all the incarnations of Impreza as they are light with impressive 280bhp turbo pull and surefooted 4wd. It's a very special example, not to be underestimated, which presents superbly both inside and out and in line with its very low mileage. The underside could be mistaken for a new car. So good is the car, that we sent it to Roger Clark Motorsport Ltd and asked them to inspect the car, and to order any mechanical or servicable items that they thought would benefit the car. The total for these service items, which included an upgraded cambelt kit and new brakes,came to £1,700. These items items were then fitted by our qualified technicians at Fairmont Sports and Classics. With this work carried out and the car fully prepaired and detailed, it is as close as one can get to a new GC8 STi. Supplied with the car is a very nice documented (but japanese) maintenance history supporting the mileage and also a CARVX Vehicle History Report that shows this car to be of the highest quality grade both inside and out, no recalls outstanding, no damaged reported and documented that this vehicle was used very little between 2006 and 2023.
