Description
This is a very special and extremely well cared for 993 that's only seen around 3,200m per year over its 29.5 years. To add, it's a the more scarce Varioram, Carrera 4 (4wd) manual model, of which there were only 75 (!) x RHD 993 Carrera 4 Cabriolets ever produced (even fewer in the UK and some of those were Tiptronic/Auto)-not many left now and likely none in this condition. The total number of 993 Carrera 4 Cabrio's manufactured, which totalled around 2,500 (mostly LHD), so still in today's terms, a genuinely rare car and a gilt-edged investment. It also comes in rare Polar Silver, not the more common Arctic Silver, plus it boasts very recent upgrades inc. GT2 style fog lights/vents.
It has an extensive history file with everything done to make this the best example you'll find - it's had a small fortune thrown at it, including new Koni suspension all around (handles and drives like a new car), new hood, 3rd brake light, perfect interior/leather with no excessive signs of wear, a more throatier air-cooled, RSR sports exhaust sound with a smooth manual gearbox and power steering, some recent fresh paint to deal with minor blemishes, it is an absolute joy to drive. MOT valid until May 2026. The modern Blaupunkt radio, whilst looking period/age-correct, is a retro model with modern music-streaming and hands-free telephone from your iPhone, via Bluetooth, with great sound.
This car is a genuine head-turner that never fails to impress in both looks and sound but without the attitude more modern cars sometimes create with onlookers. It's always been garaged in my ownership over the last 3+ years and has never been driven in winter during this time. This car is genuinely the one you will want, it's spectacular in every possible way. The roof works perfectly, everything is as it should be, including great tyres etc - it's ready to be enjoyed by the next owner.
Note: If you're one of those trying to get lucky and intend to low-ball sellers with daft offers, please save yourself the time and effort as I know my cars and have a fair few, you will not find another 993 Carrera 4 out there like this. No dealers please, this car will sell for the right money and if, for any reason it doesn't (ie winter), it'll happily remain in a collection whilst increasing in value - good ones like this are only climbing. Sadly I just don't get to use it hardly and it needs to be driven and enjoyed and is an absolutely genuine reason for selling by a proper, OCD petrol-head.
