Description

This V40 is in great condition considering it's over 20 years old. 2 keys. Full service history. Very low mileage. 2 new rear tyres fitted recently. Everything working as it should. Sometimes get the temperamental blowers which is apparently a common issue with these cars but never bothered me enough to have it looked at (hot, cold and AC all working fine, it may just start blowing air harder intermittently. No unpleasant sounds, no clunky gear changes, very smooth ride, tight steering etc. Has driven perfectly from when I purchased at the start of October 2024 to the end of July 2025 when the MOT expired. The car needs some work in order to pass its MOT, most of it can be booked in with a garage for repair (please see photo for details and quote I received to gauge a rough cost) and the other is finding a welder to secure a part of the exhaust, as "the exhaust has come away". Unfortunately I have no more info than what the MOT testers told me here. The quote does state "full exhaust system needed" which is NOT the case (last photo). This garage does not do welding so could not quote the cost to repair it, only suggest the entire replacement of it, which is why they did not leave a quote for that part. There are a few smaller dents and one larger dent to the rear drivers side body where a tree branch had landed on it. I can pass on details if the buyer would like to get this repaired as it happened on National Rail land and is eligible to claim the cost back through them - please ask for more info on this though. Since storing in a garage since July, a front tyre has deflated, so may have a slow puncture. Currently no Tax or MOT. SORN. In drivable condition. Please email/message first, as I'm getting a lot of scam calls lately. Any more questions, please ask.
