Description

Mercedes 190e 1993 (Limited edition) Owned for 5 years with regular servicing. Has been used as my daily driver as well as multiple road trips through Europe. High mileage for a normal car, low mileage for a classic Merc. Never broken down, never any engine issues, never been in an accident. Low insurance, low running costs. Drives beautifully, able to cruise along the motorway easily, even keeps up with traffic on the German autobahns as it was designed for. Comes with extensive paperwork throughout my ownership and dating back all the way to when it was purchased new. Even has the original limited edition certificate. One of 1000 made, the limited edition had all the bells and whistles including: full electric windows, electric sunroof, heated rear screen, mahogany dash and trim. Lots of money spent to keep the car going including new front wings, new suspension mounts, partial respray, new suspension bushes. Currently I have swapped the rear wheels with ones with winter tyres but will come with the original rear wheels. Unfortunately selling as need a car with isofix and passenger airbags for my one year old child (by orders of the boss!). On to the negatives: few minor scuffs and scraps to the interior (see pictures ) including worn drivers seat (patched successfully). Small crack in the dashboard around the rear windscreen heater button that allowed the button to fall through (still works, needs retrieving and gluing). Outside rear driverside door stone chip with rust, rust patches usual places rear wheel arches, one patch of rust that needs attention is rear near side jacking point (see photos). Front brake pads and discs will need replacing soon and likely new springs for the suspension. Exhaust is blowing but included is a new German made one I have ordered but not had chance to fit. Overall the car needs some TLC to make it great and I hope someone wants to cherish it.
