This 2002 T4 2.5 TDi SWB Transporter Caravelle would be suitable for low cost everyday use, or it could make an ideal restoration project. It is mechanically sound and generally solid underneath having been regularly maintained by our local garage for the last 22 years whilst in our ownership. MOT'd to December 2026, with a new gearbox, clutch and flywheel at around 230k miles and a new 2.5 Tdi 5 cylinder engine fitted at 242k miles in 2018. It has 5 seats (driver, passenger and rear folding bench seat), and radio CD player but has no other modifications from the factory specification, apart from the rear side window on the driver's side which was replaced with tinted glass after the original was shattered by a stone. The exterior paintwork is worn, and there is some rust around the wheel arches, particularly around the rear passenger-side wheel arch, but the underside is sound. The seats and interior trim are worn to an extent commensurate with the age of the vehicle but continue serviceable. The interior trim on the tailgate door is missing.
