Recent MOT ( usual pass). This is a two owner ex Hampshire main dealer demo. I have had the vehicle for 12 years. She runs very well, the engine pulls easily and all gears engage easily with a " firmness". I have averaged about 1500 per year over the last 6 years with a partial service history and an accurate history file. This car is solid with no underside rust, there is a small patch on a dent ( there when I got her), the car has a tow bar ( I have never towed and the previous owner - family rarely). This car could easily be made to look very good indeed and would suit someone who wants to enter the classic Volvo world. This vehicle has a few bits that need doing: the binnacle light needs a fuse , the drivers window sticks but is functional ( likely needs a bit of a clean- motor and connection are fine), the headlining will need replacing and the boot hydraulic lift is defective ( broom stick is supplied!). The headlamp wipers work but need new blades and looking at. The sunroof functions easily. The rear wiper will need a new motor but has an electric feed to the window. The electric mirrors both work extremely well , the radio is function and the cassette also, the seats are heated, the drivers will need a fuse or look at the passenger side is fine ! She drives very well and is surprisingly quick amongst traffic easily coping with motorway work. The bumper has a dent in it and the bonnet catch will need to be adjusted ( fight with an Audi- Volvo won!)The boot cassette is supplied but will need a new spring ( kits available)- uses very little oil and starts in all weather ( battery is not old), tyres all good and the steering straight. This is a fine solid example that actually needs a few hours work and an owner who has some level of skill- low mileage with only two keepers within the family. I would not be selling but for the simple fact that I do not need a second big car etc.
