Toyota Celica GT 2.0 Coupe 1996 with full skirt. I am selling my beloved Celica. It has been my pride and joy for 26 years; with 2 previous owners. It is a regrettable sale, but I now need an automatic. The 1996 model has a sunroof, comes in a purple/blue colour; it was the colour that attracted me all those years ago when I purchased him. The car has never let me down. This car is perfect for an enthusiast or collector; to give him a good home. The car is all original, and plenty of paperwork for the history. The paint is good for its age, but the roof and bonnet has lacquer peel, after the hot summer it seemed to appear. The drivers door has rust at the bottom, which seems to be a problem with these Celica's. I had a new front bumper a few years ago. And the whale tale sprayed, because of blistering. He does have age related marks, but you can make a judgement when viewing. This car is perfect for a collector, or genuine enthusiast looking for an appreciating classic. It is an ideal entry level. A very sturdy car, that is still in current use. The 2.0 litre Toyota Celica's particularly the 1990,s models, are well on their way to becoming recognised as a modern classic car. It's not just "another old car" but a recognised piece of 1990,s Japanese automotive history; that is increasingly sought after.
