Description

Lovely example of the MK7 Golf Match with the rarer, more sought after, 2.0TDI engine with 150PS giving a lovely blend of power and practicality. this car can achieve a real life figure of over 50MPG combined which is fantastic considering it can cruise at 80mph without breaking a sweat. It's done it's fair share of motorway mileage but don't let that put you off as it's absolutely spotless inside and you'd think you were in a car that had done a quarter of that with the steering wheef leather, seats, and all the interior trims looking almost new. It has MOT till July, the only advisory being the brakes as they had some surface rust on from being sat for a while. Other than that it starts, drives and stops wonderfully and I imagine the next owner will be able to do another 150k in it if they chose to. I have just spent 400 quid having the DPF gutted and the car remapped with an economy map so the MPG figures will likely go up now that she can breathe better. Bad bits: It's got a couple of marks on and around the vehicle as it's certainly not brand new, the worst of which is the front bumper which can be seen in photos 1 and 2 where the paint is flaking off slightly. It's just had a fresh service and is ready to go. Alloys are all nice and clean and wrapped in Michelin tyres. There's a light just appeared on the dash for the fuel tank so I had a friend come check it with his code reader, "Fuel Tank Level Sensor" issue so having spoken to my mechanic he said the sender unit in the tank will need replacing, approx 50 quid for the part and same for labour. It still starts and drives absolutely fine but won't show how much fuel is in the tank, there is at least 10 litres in there btw as I have put 2 fuel cans in. I would have had the work done myself but the car is no longer insured as I have bought something else so it is currently sat garaged waiting for it's new owner. Spec: Front and rear parking sensors with on screen visuals Adaptive cruise control and front assist (slows you down in traffic and reduces the chance of a collision) Air con Electric mirrors, heated and folding Electric windows all round Park assist (parks itself) DAB radio and bluetooth connectivity Nav Factoring the front bumper and the need for a fuel sender, I have priced this car more than fairly at as AutoTraders recommended price was 350 higher. Any questions or to arrange viewing please don't hesitate to give me a call.
