Range Rover Vogue 3.6 TDV8 in Galway Green and Cream with 11 months MOT
Lovely car which could be superb with not too much work. Meticulously maintained by James French Ltd for most of its life (they still held the service record when I bought it 5 years ago and likely still do). I bought it 5 years ago from an enthusiast who took good care of the vehicle in the couple of years he owned it.
I bought the car to join a collection of 5 Land Rovers and Range Rovers but liked it so much I ended up driving it daily. It has had all all the necessary maintenance work in my ownership. I have replaced both rocker covers to fix the well documented oil leak issue and replaced the heater control valve so it heats and cools as it should. Brake discs and pads have all been changed in the last year or so. Front ABS sensors have been replaced as a precaution against the well known 3 amigos fault. I have also replaced front lower arms so no clunks or rattles. The car has also had regular oil and filter changes in an addition to a gearbox oil change in August 2025. All electrics work exactly as they should except for the satnav antenna which needs replacing - a cheap and easy fix I haven't undertaken as I don't use the satnav! It has 2 new Pirelli Scorpion tyres at the front and 2 Pirelli P Zeros in excellent condition at the rear. Comes with detachable tow bar.
As I had the intention of keeping the car for good I don't have receipts for the work completed but will happily explain in detail all the work I have done to any serious buyer.
The bodywork is not in the best, but could be without too much work. It has small amounts of surface rust in the usual places but is better than most of this age. The interior is reasonable, but again could be excellent with not too much work.
The only negative is that the gearbox occasionally flairs the revs from 3rd to 4th gears when warm. If I were to keep it I would likely recondition the gearbox but it is perfectly driveable on a daily basis for those not wishing to do so. I have reflected this fault in the lower price.
The reason for selling is that I need to free up some space and funds for the rebuild of a Defender. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiast to purchase the most sought after L322 colour combination which could be superb with some TLC.
