Description
2003 Subaru Forester XT for Sale. Lower Tax bracket Forester with the Turbo, MOT'd until 07/07/2026.
I am the 2nd owner of this Forester and am unfortunately selling it, she has been a very reliable car for me under my ownership as well as a very fun car to drive. No rust on the car at all, outside of a few minor spots, but nothing serious or requiring welding. I have maintained a complete and full service history of the car, most of the maintenance in my ownership has been done by myself, I have done an oil service on this car every 5,000 miles which I have recorded and logged as per the pictures of the notebook I have kept. Any major work for the car has been performed by a specialist Subaru garage, East Kent Subaru (EKS), who have done a new Exedy Stage 2 Clutch, Cambelt, tensioners etc., There are some minor modifications to the car, these being for reliability, these include;
- Mishimoto Full Aluminium Radiator (Increased coolant capacity from 6.5ltrs to approx. 9ltrs)
- Fuji Racing Cylinder 4 Coolant bypass Mod
- Tien Coilovers on all 4x corners
- Front WRX Brembo 4 Pot Callipers (Currently w/ EBC Yellow Stuff Pads)
- Due to the break calliper size increase it is now fitted w/ different wheels to clear the brakes
- K&N Air Filter (Panel filter for factory housing, cleanable for ease and cost)
- Exhaust bypass valve (Welded in place, wiring has gone through grommets to keep water tight and a clean look, adjust for a Subaru rumble or to make more quiet when needed)
This is a very well equipped car, with Cruise control, hill assist, panoramic electric sunroof, heated seats, front arm rests, 3x 12v Sockets (Cigar lighters), Auto front driver window and passenger electric windows, ISOFIX in the rear w/ Childlock for the doors, 7 cubby holes in the boot for additional storage under the floor and best of all, a 6x disk CD changer!
This is a really good car that I have tried to keep in the best condition as possible. There is only one minor issue regarding the wheels/tyres that being when I fitted the new wheels I did not upsize the tyres to match, meaning the speedo is off slightly. The car originally came with 16" 215/60 tyres and I have fitted 17" 205/45 making the speedo be off slightly when compared to actual speed. This can be fixed by fitting 17" 205/55 tyres to the car to correct this.
