Description
This 2021 Renault Zoe 100kW GT Line R135 50kWh Rapid Charge is in very good condition, has 2 keys and 2 previous owners, and is due its next MOT in July 2026. First registered June 2021; still has 6 months left of Renault's 5 year warranty.
I have loved driving this 5-seat hatchback - it offers a zippy, dynamic and responsive drive, with approx. 200-220 miles of driving range, depending on your driving style and time of year.
It comes standard with LED headlights, electronic handbrake, rear sweeping indicators, keyless entry, 9.3" infotainment screen with SAT NAV, front and rear parking sensors and a reversing camera. I will also add a Type 2 EV public charging cable, worth at least GBP 150.
For 98% of my life, it has been perfect and I'm only selling because I now need something bigger. I bought it from electric car specialists Drive Green and it had one previous owner at the time.
Things I really like include:
- It is fast, nippy and very manoeurable - perfect for city/town driving but also great on more rural roads (where I live)
- The relatively big size (9.3") of the infotainment screen - particularly good using SAT NAV as you can see further ahead on the route than many shorter EV screens
- The SAT NAV highlights the EV charge points near you, and makes it easy to filter for fast chargers only - super useful on a journey
- The mini gear stick (see photo) so fewer buttons to press which can be quite confusing in some EVs.
- The rear cameras are genuinely useful for reversing and parking unlike some I've seen
- The keyless exit and entry - great when not having to fish about for your key when carrying shopping (you can disable this feature)
- Although the car looks quite narrow (useful for rural roads and parking!) the boot is a decent size at 338L or 1,225L with the back seats down.
As I said for most of my life it's been perfect. But I am getting back into sea kayaking, after a break of a few years, and if I'm going to carry a 17-18ft sea kayak on top, plus all the gear, and camping equipment, I would like something with a wider roof and a bit more space inside.
There is a scratch on the passenger side front panel - pointed out in one of the photos. Apart from this, it is in very good condition. I've had to replace a couple of tyres - wear and tear, in one case, and hitting a pothole on a rural road in another - but I've had no other problems with it.
