Description
Sophisto Grey Metallic with Dakota Cream Leather - Owned 5+ Years
I've owned the car for over five years and it's been an absolute pleasure.
REASON FOR SALE:
After around a year of debating (and yes probably a mild mid-life crisis), I'm moving to a V8 petrol 7 series. I will miss the fuel economy though. PLEASE NOTE: Private reg NOT included in sale. Will be back on its 14 plate.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE (the important bit):
Despite only averaging around 6,000 miles per year (check MOT history), I've been very particular with maintenance.
Regardless of mileage, I've personally carried out annual servicing approximately every 12 months, including engine oil, oil filter, cabin filter and engine air filter. Most recently on 14th November 2025. These are easy cars to work on! She drives and pulls like new.
Anything else, brakes, suspension, etc. has always been handled by BMW Colchester. Most notable recent work was resolving the common rear knock issue on these cars: rear differential prop shaft rubber bush and additional differential mounts, at a cost of 1,015.46 (BMW invoice available, mid-2023).
SPEC & HIGHLIGHTS:
Being an M Sport Exclusive, this car benefits from higher-grade Dakota leather with extended leather coverage compared to standard M Sport models, plus black anthracite headlining and Shadowline trim.
Options include Heads-Up Display (game-changer), soft-close doors all round, digital dash and Professional Navigation. I've also had the rear diffuser, side chrome trims and door-handle chrome professionally wrapped in black (all removable), upgraded the interior LEDs and added Black front grills (original chrome ones will be included).

THINGS TO NOTE (full honesty):
Alloys are presentable but would benefit from a refurb. Last MOT mentioned suspension arms and a rear tyre may need attention in the future this is reflected in the price. One rear climate control knob is missing (like 10 quid on Amazon). There's a small patch of bubbling on one wing mirror. Usual age-related wear and minor stone chips as expected, I have tried to show all clearly in photos. please look.
A genuinely lovely, torque-rich, mile-munching car that's effortless to live with. I'll be sad to see it go. As cliche as it sounds, the first serious viewer will buy it.
PLEASE NOTE: PRIVATE REG PLATE IS NOT INCLUDED. It will be back on its 14 plate reg.
