Description

2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Type UK EJ257 Prodrive Performance Package Recent MOT - Very Clean Reason for Sale - I've recently moved to a house without a garage and don't want to keep the car stored outside. I'm also saving towards a house deposit, so unfortunately the car has to go. 2006 WRX STI Type UK fitted with the EJ257 engine and factory Prodrive Performance Package. Factory-fitted Prodrive Performance Package, developed by Prodrive. Includes a Prodrive ECU remap along with supporting hardware such as a high-flow sports catalytic converter, exhaust components and upgraded intercooler pipework, improving power delivery, torque and throttle response over the standard car. The car is in fantastic condition for its age. There is no rust on the sills, wheel arches, strut tops or anywhere else. The bodywork and paint are in very good condition for a 2006 car and presents well overall. The car drives exactly as it should pulls strong, feels tight and confidence-inspiring, with loads of recent work carried out. It's been used properly and maintained, not neglected. Recent Work (Last 3 Months - In My Ownership) Unfortunately, the garage I purchased the car from lost all previous documentation, so I can only list work carried out during my ownership. Major Work Full Timing Belt + Idlers, Bearings Etc New Ancillary Belts & Thermostat New Water-Pump Rear DCCD Differential Replaced Gearbox Oil & Differential Oil Changed Full Service New Front Tyres - MICHELIN Pilot Sport 5 Minor Work New Wiper Arms New Side Indicators Replacement Rear View Mirror Engine Light - P2432 The car currently shows an engine light for P2432 - Secondary Air Pressure Sensor (Low). This is a common fault on these cars and is well documented within the Subaru community. This relates to the secondary air injection system, which is an emissions system used mainly on cold starts. It does not affect engine performance, drivability or reliability, and the car drives perfectly with no issues. Most owners choose to remove or delete this system altogether, as it offers no performance or operational benefit.
