2019 VW Golf GTI Performance (Mk7.5) - the spec many consider peak GTI. This is the one purists look for: manual gearbox, 5 doors, and the proper tartan cloth seats that define what a GTI should be. No gimmicks, no dilution just the sweet spot of the Mk7.5 generation before things went digital-heavy. The Performance Pack adds the VAQ limited-slip diff and uprated brakes, giving it the balance and traction that reviewers consistently praised as the moment the GTI truly came alive. Fast, usable, confidence-inspiring on a B-road, and still perfectly civilised day-to-day. A car that's been endlessly described as the thinking enthusiast's hot hatch: understated, brilliantly engineered, and endlessly rewarding to drive. This one has been well cared for with recent brakes and water pump (which is about the only thing to watch out for on this engine). It's been a second car and driven very little.
