Description

My 2010 XKR Speed Pack is for sale. It's a superb car that I bought from a specialist sports and classics dealer in Shrewsbury. There have been two previous owners prior to that, the car originally having being purchased at Lancaster Sevenoaks. I took some time finding a speed pack car in a dark colour, I think that they look significantly better than the standard body, but the normal form when they were new was to also add the black pack, but that makes for a different look - this spec looks best of all the 5.0 variants to my mind, and it has real presence. It performs brilliantly and I only use it for high days and holidays, I'm selling as one of the main reasons for having the car was it was a 2+2 so my younger children could come along on trips, but my son has had a bit of a growth spurt and his head now hits the roof! With apologies for the slightly dull pictures, I will update these once better weather arrives. The engine is incredible, I had a supercharged XF with the 4.2 engine and this a further step up in terms of performance. She drives 'true' and the brakes are strong, all discs and pads were replaced in the last 24 months. The interior is excellent and in light cream, the paintwork comes up very well and is metallic ('Ultimate Black'). The ZF box is very smooth and the manual override works perfectly, whereas a few I tested the paddles didn't do their thing and the shifts could be quite slurred. The AC is very good, no issues with the condensers etc. The car has two keys, both of which work, unusually. Notable other points are: full service history which is MDSH to 2019 then the same specialist in Telford thereafter, and despite only having covered 2000 miles since the last service she is due a major service which is booked in and will be completed in late February, but can be moved/omitted to suit. She has had a very recent set of Michelin PS4S tyres, has a wired in CTEK charger, and I recently serviced the rear differential as this was due in my opinion and its good preventative maintenance for the e-diff, despite the 'sealed for life' recommendation. The minor negative points I would highlight are: there is a patch of paint on the rear bumper that isn't perfect but only in certain lights; some of the switchgear has minor wear; minor kerb marks to two of the alloys but they don't warrant a refurbishment to me. Please drop me a line if you wish to discuss or get some more information or photos.
