Description
I've been a car guy as far back as I can remember. Swapping between 6 and 8 cylinders - not for the pace, sometimes thinking that the sound of the 6 is best but most times 8, this car really swings the pendulum towards the 8. From the moment the start button is pressed she always makes you forget everything else, you don't have to be a fast driver, very special. The leather still smells fantastic. We use this car for an occasional school run as our kid loves it, and when it's just me and my partner, on a weekend, we jump in a go to a cafe in the area. I'm not the noisiest, but I have been surprised by the number of people who have come over and started conversations who obviously have a soft spot for Mercedes, AMG or the even GT itself.
The service recommendation is for once a year, apart from a gap during Covid it has been regularly serviced, all but one with MBMD. Most recently serviced in August through me, being the larger B service at Mercedes Benz Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk. The service representative made a point to pass on from the mechanic that it looked as though it had been really well looked after. Nothing needed until the smaller service later this year in august.
Also brakes are only 10% worn at the rear, 30% worn at the front. Tyres still have 2.5 to 3mm of tread.
I have not seen another GT in this colour wrap. The surface is 99.9% perfect, there is a small blemish on the rear drivers side but unless you are actually close up, washing the car, it does not really figure. The car does not give away it's age or mileage.
