Description
This is my VW California Beach Tour. Owned by me from new and has been looked after very well. The best all round camper/ family Van from VW - twin sliding doors were the best change VW made to this model.
It has a full VW service history with the last service being done at Vertu Hereford on 10 January 2026. They made some recommendations at the point which have subsequently been carried out at my local garage (cheaper cost) which were the DSG gearbox oil service, new brake pads all round and new brake discs on the rear as well as a brake oil change. This was all done on 28 January so the Van is now as good as new and will need nothing doing for quite some time. All invoices from VW and the local independent garage are present together with a print out from VW of the service history.
I put a lot of extras on this van when i bought it which were:
Metallic Black paint
Panoramic opening front window in the pop top
Rear view camera
Awning
LED lights all round (way way better than the standard lights)
Tinted rear windows (has subsequently been tinted darker which can be removed)
VW discover Pro navigation and media system
Light and vision package
Heated seats
Heated windscreen
Sliding windows in the rear doors
Mudflaps
Power folding and heated wing mirrors
Front Fog lights with cornering function
Front and rear parking sensors and parking plus system so the van parks itself - it will drive in and out of parking spaces automatically
4 keys (all still present)
3 Zone climatronic air con (front and rear separate with rear control panel)
Interior light concept (dimmable interior lights in rear, Footwell lighting, lighting in pop top)
Genuine ABT front lip spoiler
VW sportline suspension fitted from new
Other additions since purchase are 19" wheels, the powder coated black Bike rack, a full set of Brandrup mats in the rear and a custom full leather interior done by Vision upholstery in Church Stretton (the VW leather option wasn't very nice).
All that is on top of the standard specification. I think the only thing I didn't add was a parking heater because it was 3,500 which seemed extortionate.
I would guess that we've camped in this probably twice maximum so the upstairs pop top is almost unused.
The van drives perfectly, I'll be sad to see it go. The only reason I'm selling is that i have ordered a new one which will be here sometime in April. The private plate shown in the pics will be removed before sale.
