I'm selling my beloved BMW, which has been a reliable car for me and has never let me down. It's now time to move on, so I'm offering it for sale at a sensible price, taking into account a few known issues (outlined below). Maintenance & Work Carried Out: Brake discs and pads replaced approximately 1 year ago Thermostat replaced 2 years ago Engine previously cut and fitted with new head gaskets around 4 years ago Brake servo recently replaced - invoice available and can be provided on request Condition: Wheels/rims are in poor cosmetic condition and would benefit from refurbishing Known Issues (Please Read Carefully): Although the brake servo has been replaced and the brakes are currently working, the brake vacuum pump is weak and may fail at any time. This will need replacing before regular daily driving, and this is reflected in the price. Check engine light occasionally appears and then clears itself. The cause has never been diagnosed. Rear left door does not open. The cause has never been diagnosed. This is an honest sale, and I encourage potential buyers to keep the above points in mind. The car is priced accordingly and would suit someone who is mechanically minded or looking for a project or affordable BMW.
