2004 Jaguar XJR - Reluctant Sale - Low Mileage - Tastefully Modified - Very Reliable Reluctant sale only due to getting a car from work. My Jaguar XJR has been my dependable daily for over two years, getting me to work and back without missing a beat. It's been a genuinely reliable, enjoyable car with that unmistakable V8 rumble and supercharger whine. It's quick, comfortable, and still feels special every time you get behind the wheel. Modifications -Back box delete - gives a lovely deep V8 sound -Caldoofy intake - enhances induction noise and throttle response -Coilover suspension - sits and handles far better than stock, no expensive air suspension costs. Good Bits Mechanically sorted with recent work including: -New suspension components & bushes -New tyres -New brakes -Fresh oil change -Recently new tyres with good tread and all the same - Pirelli p zero -OEM Towbar -Major gearbox service incl. map reset -Low mileage for age: 87,000 miles -Beautiful interior - cream leather with mahogany dash, a genuinely lovely place to be Looks fantastic with silver alloys and metallic silver paint -Starts, drives and pulls exactly as an XJR should -Perfect blend of performance, comfort and family practicality -Featured on my YouTube channel HJR Garage (full video walkaround + driving footage) - link here to YouTube walk around video: Bad Bits (being honest) Like any 20 year old car, it has a few age related imperfections: -A few cosmetic marks, shown clearly in the photos -Cracked fog light and a small mark on the front bumper -Being aluminium, it has a few areas of corrosion (not rust) beginning to show -The backbox delete pipes are starting to corrode and could do with attention -No documented service history from before my ownership. However, during my ownership I've had significant mechanical work completed, all backed by receipts and dated evidence. Much of this is also documented on my HJR Garage YouTube channel (walkaround + driving footage), so you can see how it's been maintained and used. It's been exceptionally reliable as my daily for 2+ years. -Private Registration plate not included in the sale it will be back on its original (NJ04HKK) Nothing here affects the way the car drives it's strong, smooth, and pulls hard. Overall This is a great example of a supercharged V8 Jag: reliable, quick, comfortable and full of character. It's been a fantastic daily for me.
